Campfire stew is a firm family favourite in our house. With the added bonus of it being slimming world friendly! It’s perfect for the colder evenings, easy to make and is made in the slow cooker!!! Perfect for working or busy mums! It’s also affordable.

What do you need?
Gammon or pork joint
2 tins of beans (3 if using a large joint)
1 onion chopped
3 crushed garlic cloves
2 peppers chopped
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
6 tbsp tomato purée
What do I need to do?
Put gammon or pork joint in the middle of the slow cooker.
Put in all the other ingredients and mix.
Put slow cooker on low for 6 hours if using a small joint
Put slow cooker on high for 6 hour if using a large joint
Break up gammon or pork joint and stir.
