How To Make A Homemade Chocolate Face Mask
Every Parent deserves #5minutespeace, time to relax and recharge. Time to themselves. One of my favourite things in my self care routine is to apply a face mask and chill for 10 minutes while it works it magic. So, i’m wanting to share with you a simple recipe I came across. It’s absolutely amazing! Here’s How To Make A Homemade Chocolate Face Mask
This face mask smells like a chocolate bomb, its divine! It looks like a gooey mess, feels like exfoliating and is moisturising goodness. The recipe will make enough to smother a good layer over your face and neck; if you have some left over DON’T eat it. – No matter how good it smells. Some of the ingredients are perishable. So it’s best to make this mask when you intend to use it.
What You Need
- 1/2 Vanilla Pod
- 30ml-50ml Coconut milk
- 20g Raw Cocoa powder
- 20g Organic Rhassoul Clay Powder
You can buy these products from your local supermarket and health food shop.
Here’s some I found on Amazon so you can purchase them now.

Let’s Get Mixing
- Scrape the Vanilla pod seeds into the coconut milk and infuse for around 30 minutes
- Blend the powders together in a bowl
- Slowly add the powders to the milk, mixing it all together thoroughly until you have a thick (ish) chocolatey gooey paste. If you have any left over powder you can use this next time, but make sure you don’t accidentally add it to your hot chocolate as Rhassoul powder is NOT edible.
Get It On Your Face and leave for around 10-15 minutes.
The mask will softly set. It will crack slightly when you smile and it will become lighter in colour as it dries. You’ll want to make sure you wash it off thoroughly as not to get it all over your towels!
Once washed off, pat your face dry and feel the difference. Your skin will be smooth and hydrated.
