I have to admit I am a tiny bit excited. Now Autumn has well and truly decided to arrive and show itself. Autumn is my absolute favourite season of the Year next to Christmas.
Why I love Autumn
The leaves are starting to fall off the trees, the dark nights are starting to close in. That Autumn chill is in the air first thing on a morning. Breathing ‘dragons breath’ as you leave for work or the school run. The winter coat comes out of the closet, woolly jumpers start to replace those summer outfits. I don’t know about you but Autumn is that time of year when I just want to be at home, get into my pjs on and snuggle up with my hubby and kiddies with the heating on, with a warm cuppa tea in my hand.
For me, I find this time of year the build up to Christmas. I adore all the festivals and celebrations the Autumn brings. Harvest, Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire night.
As a family we have decided to write a Family Bucket List of things we want to do as a family over the Autumn months of October and November.
